Elenger was selected among 5 traders for the purchase of electricity by public authorities
The procurement announced by SJSC Valsts nekustamie īpašumi (VNĪ) for inclusion in the dynamic procurement system (DIS) for centralized purchase of electricity for more than 100 public sector institutions has been completed. After the evaluation, all 5 electricity traders who had applied have been recognized as meeting the criteria and will be included in the dynamic procurement system from the new year.
The introduction of the centralized electricity procurement system will allow smarter management of state funds and resources – from 2021, more than 100 public administration institutions will be able to purchase electricity faster, more conveniently and with less administrative burden and the most favorable conditions. From the beginning of the new year, 5 traders, including Elenger , will compete on the electronic procurement platform https://www.eis.gov.lv/ for the supply of electricity to state institutions .

VNI, as one of the largest state real estate managers, has successful experience in implementing electricity procurement, therefore in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, VNI, as a centralized procurement institution in cooperation with the State Regional Development Agency, for the centralized purchase of electricity within the procurement system.
