Gints Brakovskis appointed Managing Director of Elenger in Latvia
Today, 10 August, Gints Brakovskis has been appointed Managing Director of energy company Elenger in Latvia. He has been with the company since 2018. Brakovskis succeeds Dāvis Skulte, who has left the company to pursue new professional opportunities.

Gints Brakovskis is an experienced leader with extensive expertise in sales, customer relations and business development. He has been with Elenger for eight years, making a significant contribution to the company’s growth during this time. In recent years, he served as Head of Sales, successfully expanding Elenger’s customer portfolio and strengthening the company’s position in Latvia’s energy market.
Before joining Elenger, Gints Brakovskis built his professional career at DHL Express Latvia, where he managed logistics operations and was responsible for developing the company’s business-to-business (B2B) customer segment and customer relationships.
Elenger is the largest private energy company in the Baltic States and Finland, with operations covering the entire energy value chain, from trading and production to delivery to end customers. The company serves more than 450,000 customers and employs more than 1,000 people.
Elenger supplies its customers with Western-origin natural gas and renewable biomethane and operates gas distribution networks in Estonia, Latvia and Poland, with a combined length of 9,000 kilometres. The company also sells electricity, including green electricity generated at its solar parks, and is actively engaged in international energy trading.
Elenger is owned by investment company Infortar, whose shares are listed on the Main List of the Nasdaq Tallinn Stock Exchange.
